About Loetus

Loetus Creative is a small one-woman plus operation specializing in new school storytelling. Our work covers the normal purview of branding, design, web sites, and so on, but our secret power (and guilty pleasure) is using these to tell a good story.

So it's about using media as a means and not the end—for something really interesting and meaningful.

Loetus Creative is a commercial arts greenhouse and part of a greater Loetus mission based on creativity and exchange. A percentage of profits are donated to arts education and a tandem tangent of the operation is Loetus Exchange, an online project in creative relief by pilot Xuanlana.

Loetus.com is piloted by Xuanlana Nguyen, a creative professional in media arts and visual communications. An alumn of UC Berkeley, Lana received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked with Arnold Brand Communications and the prolific 2001 Truth campaign. Since then, she has worked with a diverse set of clients that include Chicago's About Face Theatre, Relay Worldwide/Publicis, HBO Def Poet Kevin Coval, Prudential Realty, Golden Gate University, and other clients, local and international.

As former Marketing and Communications Manager for Zeum, a San Francisco-based media arts center for youth, Lana has also harbors a strong commitment to youth arts and media culture where she worked with partners such as Pixar Animation Studios, Dic Entertainment, Squidlabs & Howtoons the San Francisco Women's Film Festival, the Israeli Consulate, SFNoir, Aardman Animation, and others.
